Suzanne has over 33 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher in London, UK, and Finland. With a BA in Early Childhood Education, she believes in providing a nurturing and educational environment for a positive learning experience for young children. She emphasizes the importance of dedication, enthusiasm, and fun for teachers to aim for.

I'm originally from Australia and I moved to Finland in 2016. Before moving to Finland, I completed a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. After relocating to Finland I lived for a few years in Jyväskylä and studied Finnish. In 2018, I moved to Helsinki and began working at Bumblebees. In 2019, I began studying Early Childhood Education in Tampere University in their English program, from which I graduated in 2022. I have been working in a number of different positions in Bumblebees, inlcuding as a preschool teacher and now with our 3+4 year age group in Myllypuro. I enjoy creating activities where children are able to express themselves, learn new skills and let their curiosity and imagination shine.

I have been working in Bumblebees Kindergarten since 2019. As a mother of two, I understand the importance of quality time with children. I believe in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn through play, creativity, and imagination. It's important to me that children explore their surroundings, discover new things, make mistakes, and become self-confident, emotionally, physically, and mentally strong, and socially courageous. I have a Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Applied Sciences, and a Vocational Qualification in Social and Health Care from Omnia, the Joint Authority of Education in the Espoo region.
